Atticus is proud to help support events in our home state of Connecticut that focus on one of our three areas of focus – underprivileged children, bridging divides, and urban farming.
We get a large number of requests throughout the year and although we would love to, we can’t possibly accommodate every event.
Any approved donations must be picked up at one of our stores – Atticus Bookstore Café or Atticus market - during business hours.
Participation requirements
· Event focuses on one of our three areas of focus – underprivileged children, bridging divides, or urban farming
· Be a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
· Provide more than 2 weeks prior to the event, but not more than 2 months
· Have not received a product donation from Atticus in the last 6 months
Organizations and events that don’t qualify.
· Organizations that are not classified as IRS 501(c)(3) not-for-profit entities
· Events outside Connecticut
· Requests for individual/family support
· Events that fall outside our areas of focus
