Porridge bread... what is that?!?
Short answer 😎 The Porridge bread has the most hydrated crumb out if all our loaves. It also includes many other grains incorporated into the loaf.
Long answer 🤓 First, we start by making a porridge with a cracked seven grain blend of wheat, rye, corn, barley, flax, millet, and steel cut oats. We soak all the grains overnight then roast them until tender and toasty before gently mixing them into our dough made from Maine grains high extraction flour.
The porridge packs a huge flavor punch as well as lending a moist and custard texture with impressive keeping quality.

Col Fondo!?
"What's that you ask?"
Great question... the short answer: it's fun and delicous and perfect for spring and you should snag a bottle now!
The long answer:
Col Fondo wine is an old heritage style of Prosecco that used to be very common, but you don't see it so much today. "Col Fondo" literally translates to "with the bottom" - a reference to the fact the wine has sediment and live yeast in the bottle (giving it more depth). This particular bottle is made with 100% Glera grapes.
"So what does it taste like?"
Ah yes... nerdy stuff out of the way, on to the important part:
It has a light effervescence with soft, fine bubbles. On the nose: rose, peach & melon. On the palate: green apple, ripe melon with a dry yeasty finish. Perfect for spring! Bring it on your next picnic! Grab a loaf of sourdough bread, charcuterie and enjoy! 🌞
